Gathering of an Army - The Making of an Adventurer -
Life on a small farm was quite boring. Being the middle son of a pig farmer, left you yearning to prove yourself to your family. You were not as strong as your older brother, nor as cuddled as your younger one. At the age of 15 you still needed to find out who you were. That is why you sometimes pretended you were out looking after the sows, but would sneak off into the woods to let you imagination run wild and pretend you were from a far away land on a daring adventure. Practicing sword fighting with a stick against the wiley old tree creatures. Or practicing your aim by throwing rocks at the crows in the field. You weren't content with being a farmer and knew that there were bigger and better things out there for you to see and experience. But it was your duty and obligation to work for and take care of your family. Family before self was what you father had always taught you.
One evening just as the sun was sinking over the western sky, you were making your way back to the farm for dinner. You heard you sister scream. Thinking it was your older brother playing one of his practical jokes, you didn't pay it much attention. Soon after, you heard your mother scream as well. You ran as hard as you could and soon made it to the rise of the last hill before the open pasture to your farm house.
You could see in the dimming light that the farmhouse was being set on fire, there was a group of ten or eleven dark shadows running around the property speaking a language you could not understand. You saw your brothers and father both dragged out of the house and slain. You did not dare to help. You were outnumbered and unarmed. All you could do is watch in horror as the life as you knew it tragically came to an end. You thought that maybe you could run to the neighbors for help or possibly warn them of the danger, but as you ran down the slope your feet got tangled in some rocks, you stumbled and fell. You slammed your head into a rock and your vision blurred. The last thing you remember seeing as the darkness overtook you was a quick shadowy glimps of your sister being tied up and thrown over a horse. You then pass out.
The band of Goblins were sent to raid the nearby farm houses for supplies and to rid the area of any possible resistance.
In the mountains to the East lies the headquarters of a Giant Orc named "One Fang" who has been commissioned to gather up a goblin army and take control of the area.
The sister is still alive and is being taken back to One Fang as he has a liking for young blonde humans.
